Their menu was so tempting to order pasta or some bbq ribs or something of the like. Instead I ended up ordering chicken fajitas and was cautious to not use much sour cream. I loaded my tortillas with salsa, guacamole and chicken and the peppers and onions. It was delicious and so filling. Instead of pop I ordered water. I have come so far in such a short time. I will not allow myself to fail.
Today I ended up sleeping in late due to my sciatic nerve acting up from 2am-4am. It was so difficult to get back to sleep and I didn't end up sleeping until after I took some Advil and it kicked in. I was bag tired. So I slept in till 10am, and frantically showered and got ready for church. In a hurry I grabbed 2 pieces of whole wheat toast and buttered them with peanut butter and grabbed a pear on my way out and my water.
Even in a pinch you can make sure to eat healthy and well eat period! I was so close to saying "screw it" and starving myself which is the worst thing I can do to my body now since it is used to eating lots of small meals throughout the day. It would have screwed up my metabolism.
Got home and made an egg salad sandwich with some apple slices and then went over to my buddy's house to work out. We ended up doing THE MOST DIFFICULT exercise I've had to do. It was that bodyrock exercise I mentioned I wanted to do... however today was supposed to be the "active rest day." The moves weren't so hard, I was able to do just about everything it was the fact that it was 40 minutes long and we didn't get a break. As I've mentioned before, each move was 30 seconds long with only 10 sec "break" if you can even call it that, it isn't really though its just enough time to take a sip of water and get ready for the next move.
Did I mention it was 40 MINUTES LONG!?? I am so proud of myself. I've never felt a burning sensation so bad in all my life. Normally when I would feel that fire I would pause and just take a breath, or lay on the floor if it was a JM (Jillian Michael's) workout and end up joining in just as they finished or something; Joelene wouldn't let me, haha. She kept saying "keep going! I know you can, push it!" she was like the exercise Nazi on my butt haha. Which don't get me wrong I am NOT complaining about it, I needed it.
Afterwards she told me she signed up to do the 60 day T25 (look it up on YouTube.. OHEMGEE!) challenge and she gets access to this awesome website that has tons of recipes and shakeology recipes for delicious shakes. We are going to do that when it comes in. 25 minute work outs 5 days a week. The people who have done it in the past have literally lost 50lbs in 5 months. No joke. If you follow a clean eating plan (which we are) and stick to the exercise it transforms you. I am excited for that part.
Now while I won't reveal my actual weight (just yet) I will say that I am over 200lbs by quite a bit. She told me that by June when we do the color me rad I should be about 190lbs.... *jaw drop* I honestly can't remember how long it has been since I have been under 200lbs. I can't even fathom, but it will be my reality and in a short amount of time, because I am working harder then I have ever worked in my life!
After our workout she made the most delicious shake (it actually tasted like an orange creamcicle!) Sorry I won't be sharing the shake recipes as she paid good money to gain access to them & is kind enough to let me also benefit.
That being said this was my delicious and healthy dinner!

It's amazing that just a month ago looking at a plate like this I would have been like "that's it?" well because I am eating so often now I don't need such a large supper. My stomach has definitely shrunk.
This may look tiny but it was filling for me and I do plan to have some of my amazing avocado ice cream later or maybe some crispy mini's as a treat.
Have a great night everyone!
