Feel the burn, baby!

Day 45

Apparently I was a bit too cocky when I updated yesterday that the Ripped in 30 wasn't bad. At least I think that's what I said, I was thinking that if I didn't say it.

Today was really challenging to do the movements. I am feeling it all over my body, which is awesome because after the 30 day shred I wasn't hurting in these areas as much.
 

I woke up this morning all stiff legged. My hamstring was sooo sore, and my quads and my butt - haha. It all hurt, and to re-work it all again today was just brutal! So we went swimming tonight and I sat in the hot tub to relax my muscles a bit. I hope after a restful night I have a bit more range of motion back. I love feeling this pain though, it makes me know that I have worked something hard and that my body is changing. Makes the work out worth it even more.
 

I just wish it was easier to walk! Going up and down stairs is quite the task right now and my lower back is aching. Either I worked a really strange back muscle or I had bad form in one of the movements. Maybe the chair pose? I sure felt that a lot on my lower back.
 

Today was also a good day for eating, although for supper time I did eat potato salad and had a bun but I also had garden salad and chicken with it. I found my appetite was increased today too. I was so hungry for one of my snacks I devoured a yogurt AND an apple. I even had some apple crisp for another snack and some nuts which I probably could have done without the crisp but its soooo yummy. I made it for my husband yesterday for dessert and it's in my fridge and it is seriously the best apple crisp both he and I have ever had! It's pretty hard to resist. Its almost gone though and I don't bake often (for this reason!)
 

Well thats all I have to say for now. This is a late update but I am trying to get back to doing it daily at least. I'm off to bed right now, got another busy day tomorrow!
