This is not a diet, this is my whole life!
Day 50
I've been so terrible on blogging lately! I'm sorry. It's been pretty busy around here. Hard to get a chance to sit down and have some blog time :P
50 days!!! Today I have been on my weight loss journey and exercising pretty diligently for FIFTY DAYS! W00T! Well that is definitely a milestone for me.
Today was tough tough TOUGH! I started week 2 in the Ripped in 30 today. Now I am starting to get pretty afraid of what's to come. Some of the movements I had to take a double take on... like I think she is clinically insane! I don't think most peoples body's move like that. Like this one move with the push ups. You had to get into push up position and instead of just the normal push up move you needed to go down and raise a leg to your elbow.. like seriously!?
Another one with abs you had to sit straight up on the floor, push your whole body off the mat so your some what hovering (at least in the butt area) and then you put your feet down and curl your stomach up to a bridge position, hard to picture I know but its even harder to do! Ouchies! My arms really felt that.
Oh and lets not forget the cardio plank pose from hell... you do plank jacks for like 30 sec then do mountain climbers (which is plank pose and then you lift each knee up so basically running in spot in a plank position) then back to the plank jacks and more mountain climbers. My shoulders were pinching so bad, I had to stop. It was burning. No relief from that pose at all!
Anyway I could go on and on, it's only week 2! I can not imagine what week 3 brings. I think I will most definitely do 6 days of this.
Oh and the stupid thing was I started out doing week one because i'm so used to doing 10 days on of each level from the 30 day shred, if my 4 year old hadn't mentioned anything I probably would have done week 1 again. So I did the warm up part and the first strength part of week 1 before realizing and then having to switch to week 2, doing another warm up and then the rest of the work out. Talk about worn out.
Then I had to go and clean up garbage from my back yard and do a craft with my biggest. I need a nap.
