Highway to failure?


Day 36 (Monday)

We were travelling home from BC this day and I had totally planned to work out either in the morning before we left at 11AM or after I got home. That did not go according to plan. My baby is cutting some nasty teeth or something and has been completely unsettled for sleeping for a week. This mama is TIRED. So I ended up getting him to nap from 9am-10am  then it was rush rush to pack and get on the road.

I did eat before we left (2 pieces of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and a yogurt) fully trying to avoid eating on the road. Didn't work. It is a 5 hour drive, and with stops with kids it makes it even longer. We ended up getting wings and potato wedges and chips. Again a CRAP day for eating.

Got home super late, and didn't get our son to bed until 9PM and by then we were so wiped we just got sushi, and then our son woke up again. So it was another exhausting night.

No work out that day due to clingy, grumpy, sick, feverish baby.... we'll try again the next day I figured. Only 2 days off working out.....read on to next "catch up" post for more.
